Our trip so far

So far we have been on two airplanes, two temples, one cyclo tour some dinners with local Footscray people and have had fun.

                                                      The two airplanes
The first airplane was 8 whole straight hours ( with movies and games). The second plane was 2 hours straight with movies and games.

                                                       The two temples
The first temple was called Tam cốc. Inside was a staute of the Đinh Tiên Hoàng(the king). The second temple was called bìch động. The king wife's staute is in there.

                                                            Cyclo tour
We when around Hanoi on a bike but we didn't need to pedal the bike. We had a lot of fun.

Great stuff April. Sounds amazing.

What did it feel like to be in the temples? How would you compare your experience so far in Vietnam with living in Melbourne? I must say that Melbourne suddenly looks rather plain!

Looking forward to your next post.
Lots of love, John

What a wonderful time you are having April. I'm longing to hear lots more about the places you see and the people you meet. Also, what's the weather like? I imagine it's a lot hotter than it is here in Melbourne. Today it's back to feeling like winter, so I've got the heater on and am going to do some knitting with my friend Heather, who's coming over shortly. Hear from you soon! Love, Nana xo

Hey April,
Looks amazing so far. It raining and cold again in Footscray today so I hope your weather is better. Have you had a chance to try out any Vietnamese words or conversations yet?
We're missing you guys but have heaps of fun.

Hey April,

The trip looks amazing so far! Its wet and cold in Melbourne today (feels like winter again) so I hope the weather is better over there.

Have you had a chance to speak much Vietnamese yet? What's the most interesting food you've eaten?

Missing you both lots,
Nick, Anita, Toby & Sunday

Hi april, sounds like your having the best time. Ive seen some photos on Ash's instagram of your brekky you've been enjoying. Reminds me of my holiday in japan when I ate sooo many doughnuts everyday for brekky. It was great. Looking forward to your next post. Love Taz, pete and percy xoxoxxo

Glad to hear you kept yourself busy on the long plane ride. It must have been fun on the cyclo tour - bikes are fun when you don't have to pedal yourself! We look forward to hearing more of your adventures.

Hi April,I can't believe how much you've done and seen in little more than a week! Have you had a favourite experience? I hope you've written down lots in your diary as it's so easy to forget details. I've just been looking at my diary of our time in the UK and Italy, and it brings it all back. What was it like being in a classroom so far away from Footscray? Were some of the things you did similar to what you'd do here? And have you been able to speak with the other students? Maybe you tried some Vietnamese and they tried some English! Miss you both and looking forward to seeing you soon, to hear first hand all your adventures. Hope you write another blog soon. I love reading it...love nana xo
